Title: Engine Type sticker ??

I have the wrong engine sticker on the chassis b pillar at the bottom inside the drivers door shut. It states Engine 2.0 , Power 130ps and Fuel petrol .
The Car is and Edition 30 , what should the sticker say and do you think i will be able to get a correct replacement from VW ?

Cut and shut? Car might have been and normal golf?  :laugh:

Should all stickers and numbers (vin etc) match up? could just be a repair job mate  :happy2:

Never been repaired only done 19k and i know all the owners , they never noticed it but "Anal" me did !

Can someone post what their sticker says

it is small grey and about 40mm square split in three bits as i quoted above. inside drivers door on b pillar

You sure its not 130kw rather than ps?

Says PS............and what recent VW 2 litre petrol engine produced 130ps anyway ?

These stickers were stuck on by dealer for the OBD thing the police are using. So they can tell what engine. When they pull up faults on there basic diagnostic tools

Thing is when they ran out of a certain sticker any one was stuck on or it was by mistake.

On a 2007 Edition 30.............What does yours say ? Have you got one ?

I am going to remove it  . Do you need it for the car to remain authentic ?
