Title: Which spark plugs for K04 stage 2+
Post by: Sammy on May 17, 2012, 06:04:11 pm: I have just done the tubo conversion and almost straight away the car has started to misfire, Which plugs will best suit the car, It has the S3 injectors, TBE, k04 turbo, S3 cooler and autotech internals

NGK 8 are the cooler plug? I tried them but failed after 2 weeks of redline bashing.

Only have them in for 2 days though(300 odd miles), but no issues so far.

I put my K04 map on before I even started the car.

I have the BKUR7ET plugs in mine. Teff also runs them in his 'R'.

If you are doing short trips then the 8's dont burn as well as the 7's.

Was the plug fouling and do you do lots of short journeys?

Seems the 8 is the right deal for me as i cant understand the gap about the nology plugs :confused:
