Came across these Carbon Fibre Seat Side Trims on the interweb, like the look of them a lot
Anybody know anything about them, the price or the company that makes them, company's called TID Styling and are in Korea!

Nice find! :happy2:
TID also make carbon flappy paddle extensions (DSG). I have them on my car, as do one or two others on the forum.

Yeah saw that thanks for that though. Good quality C/F products are not cheap so would expect it to be somewhere between £300 -£500 a pair. Maybe one day when handling and engine mods are all done i will move on to shiney bits.

I know I may get put down for this comment, but have to risk it.......
A lot of people now are wrapping, with a good quality wrapp you can get a good effect, if you wrapped the item and the clear coat laquered it after do you think you could get a closer to this look?

^^^^
All my interior stuff is carbon vinyl wrapped and all my exterior body stuff is real carbon.
The latest 3M carbon vinyls are excellent and even have texture.

Exactly, do you think a nice clear coat would give a similar/closer look to the rear stuff?

....In theory yes but in reality I doubt it. There's a point at which it's best to be honest about what a material is and afterall carbon vinyl has its own beauty, imo.

I asked this while ago. After a few replies and a bit of research I found that you have to use certain clear coats to get a nice finish (still not as good as the real deal) or the vinyl wil just look black ( you cant really see the carbon print)
