Guys -
I need a new air con compressor and a quick search on here tells me that I need a Sanden PXE16, and not one of the other two brands, which will both just fail again.
My local VAG specialist wants over £500. There's a firm in South London (it would be a Sin to libel them here) advertising at £229 but they have very poor feedback on the forums and I wasn't impressed when I phoned them.
Mavoy Parts in Eire are offering 334 Euros delivered, but for a PXE14. They say this is a replacement for the PXE16.
Are they right? Can I do better?
