First things first i have a golf gti dsg :)
just went out for a drive in my car, made sure it was all nice and warm so i decided to give it some. Had the car in manual mode and a second after i put my foot down the two lights flickerd on and off the rev needle bounced around between 1k and 4k rpm and the car didint want to go. Then it all went back to normal but the car was sluggish and didnt accelerate as good as normal.
Does anyone have any ideas of what this could be as this is the last thing i need at the mo :(
Cheers

sounds like it went into limp mode. could have done that for a multitude of reasons
where are you based? have a look at the VCDS owners register and see if someone is local to you who can scan. if you're in/near Stoke i can do it for you :happy2:

Based in basingstoke, will have a look and see if there us anyone around. Do you reckon it will be ok to drive carefully or best not risk it, cheers

the car will probably tell you - warning lights and still in limp mode = don't drive it (or drive it somewhere slowly that can look over it properly and fix what's wrong)
if it behaves itself then you'll probably be ok. just take it easy until you can get it scanned :happy2:
