Hi guy's,
Looking for some direction here, my jetta has a horrid knocking noise when going over bumps/dips on the road, I have fitted new top mounts/bearings and fitted new stabiliser links but still there, car has Jom coilovers (cheap I know!) which are around a year old. Can anyone suggest what to check next? Also worth mentioning that when the coilovers were removed I noticed that the coil springs were making contact higher up the spring (coils 1/2), I will try to get a picture soon.
Edit: also worth mentioning that I did do the subframe bolts MOD as the time the coilovers were fitted.

Update: Fixed :pomppomp:
More details here, http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/t/406228.aspx
No need to remove the shock, my friend fabricated a screw driver into a chiesel that slotted into the small hole at he top and tapped it tight with a hammer. Will post a picture of this homebrew tool if anyone wants to make one.
I have still the knock when turning steering left to right or vice versa but I will change all the subframe bolts again.
