Hi guys...
I had a rear caliper replaced on my mk5 golf ever since my brake pedal sinks to the floor every time I brake ???
Iv had all 4 calipers bled a good couple of times but the problem is still there
Any idea what it could be ???
Cheers...

Sounds like there is air still in there. Have you checked that your not loosing brake fluid?
-
Nah not checked if fluid is leaking... I'll check tomorrow it was fully topped up today after we bled it so il check for any leakage tomorrow
-
Checked the brake fluid thats still full....

Hi Pal
It's air.
best bet got to a dealer with a fixed price brake fluid change service and let it be their problem.
Be about £60 normally.
Alternatively remove the caliper from the carrier after tapping it a few times with a rubber mallet and then elevate it in the wheel well with the bleed nipple as high as you can get it and rebleed.
Don't forget to put a wooden block in the caliper if you are up/downing hence you pop the piston our
The VW machine pumps in at a higher pressure at than it sucks it out causing a positive pressure in the system, they also have a device that holds the brake pedal half way down, which avoids problems when pressure bleeding

mine did the same when i put rear r32 calipers on,bled mine 4 times until it was right--as mentioned it has air still in the system
