Before I get shouted at, I know it's not a mk5! I do also know this is the best place for knowledgeable folk for mk6 info.. Is the colour-coded leather a standard option on the R? Not seen it before..

I spotted that. Think it looks good personally
Last i checked the "standard" interior for the R was cloth. I'm guessing this is a VW Individual interior?
-
Standard R trim is leather.
Not sure about the red inserts sounds like some kind of individual bespoke trim.
-
Well it is certainly different. Doubt there will be many R's with that type of interior finish. :happy2:

Looks like someone has copied MG Rover ZR-ZS-ZT Seats :driver: .

Standard R trim is leather.
looks like they've changed the standard spec. suppose it makes sense now that the standard GTI has leather too

Really? Shame. So when did the check cloth stop being standard on the Mk6 GTi?

few months ago i think. someone mentioned it in another thread.
i agree it's a shame... well, sort of. i think it's silly you can pay over £25k for the standard car and it not have leather, but i think it should have something like the Ed30 half leather/tartan interior (which to my eyes is the best looking interior of any PQ35 chassis car period)

somebody retrimed it ,doesnt have heated seats ,thats standard if you pay for leather

Didnt realise this, leather is not always ideal - looks great but a PITA sometimes. Tricky on a car like that - something you do expect it to have and looks nice but not to everyone's taste - too hot in the summer (the odd week of the year)
