Title: no rear speaker output - rcd300mp3
Post by: jimk04 on May 24, 2012, 09:44:39 pm
Just scanned my mates 07 gti and we noticed that there is no output through the rear speakers - none of them. It lists all 4 rears as open circuit. (3 door btw)

Any obvious reason....thinking there must be a connector to the rears come unplugged somewhere....anyone know where to look?

Rosswiki mention a fuse?

Thanks in advance

I forgot to mention that also when going into the setup menu in the RCD - the fader option isnt there.

Looked on a wiring diagram and the rear speakers are all in the same multiplug - unsurprisingly....so I doubt they have come disconnected. So due to this fader thing, I am thinking it might be a H/U fault?
