Title: Stage one question...I know I know

Hey folks , been an avid lurker on the forum for a while , the odd post here and there

Got a quick question in regards to stage 1.

The first major mod I'm gonna go for is a new exhaust system , it's a toss up between just a cat back system or a full turbo back system

I basically want to then remap my beauty to the 180 mark from my standard 140 Tdi

The question I guess I have is would either the cat back or tbe bring on any check engine lights , what about mot's

I bought my 2.0 GT TDi 140bhp standard. Over a year I cut off the back box and welded on a straight pipe with GTI twin tips, then remapped it (Shark Pervormance = 182bhp), then replaced the standard OEM exhaust with a Milltek Non-Resonated Turbo Back Exhaust. I've never had an Engine Warning Light and have successfully passed and MoT also.
