Driveway is only 4.5m long and wifes car is 4.4m long and idea of any gadgets to screw/stick on the way to protect the rear bumper.
-
Parking sensors or reversing camera?
-
nail a length of wood accros the drive so the tyres bump before the bumper does.
-
Put something there to act as a point of reference.
-
...... Don't let your wife drive it....
-
There you go, one for each of you!! :happy2:

Put a marker on te fence/wall that the wing morrow lines up with or some sort of speed bump/ramp that when you touch you stop
-

This

The wood is the best cheap/quick method but may look unsightly.
Reversing camera kits are easy, you can even get wireless ones with a seperate 3.5" screen cheap (£30ish?)

Sister does something similar but with a couple of bricks instead.
-
Easy! - simply saw off your boot with an angle grinder.
-
The wood beam method is something I've seen others use. 10cm isn't much room for error and a visual marker can be overshot whereas it's more difficult to not notice you're going over a beam.

Could you leave the garage door open, and put one of these in there?

Just a thought.

It would have to be a bloody big garage to get one of them in there :signLOL:
-
a old guy in my road hangs a golf ball off his windowsill, as soon as he hears it hit the bonnet he stops!!
-
4" isn't a lot .......ask most women!!!
Seriously though low tech is the wooden block on the floor, high tech is a light sensor that when broken by the rear of the car turns on a light next to the front door of the car.
-
Like the light sensor idea, as it is at the front of the house and don't want it looking a mess
-
Paint the wood beam to match the house :popcornsoda:
-
What about one of these? :happy2:
