Hey guys just had the car out the garage to go get me barnet cut :innocent: And as I walked back to the car I noticed the front drivers side rim covered in what looked like scratch marks?! But on closer inspection it seems that the laquer on the centre's of the rim is starting to crack :angry015: :angry015:!!!! Now These are only just back from Wrc at preston a month ago and been on the car less than 2 weeks!! Needless to say I'm not pleased :jumping:
Here's a few pics

See what his reaction is first pal, he seemed a pretty decent bloke, sure he'll sort it
-
is it possible small stones have caused it whilst traveling, i no it shouldn't but if the laquer was really soft would that be how they are caused.
-
Its totally there issue and they should
Sort it

IMO definately not, they have mixed the paints wrong or they have applied it wrong, they will get alot worse IMO, I have seen it before
-
defo not stone chips Tc as the laquer ain't chipped! You can run your finger over the area's on the rim and as you do so they almost disappear for a few second's then come back?!
-
Gutted for you mate! I have 2 of these wheels on there way to me that I bought from e-bay!
-
Have you been over any deep potholes ?
These sometimes can damage your wheels - not sure if it will damage the way on your pictures
-
if they go away then come back on pressing then yes lacquer has lifted
gutted but easily sortable :happy2:
-
That's exactly whats happining John_O
