Had a look online at his books, are they a series or stand alone books,  seem to all involve the same character Harry Hole.  :happy2:

You can read them as stand alone, but there is the odd reference to Harry's private life which maybe from an incident in a previous book.  Doesn't effect the plot though kind of incidental to it.

^^^^ I see. Cheers Thor. Amazon only go back as far as "The Redeemer" as far as kindle downloads are concerned, so that's where I'll start.

Cheers peeps. Wilbur Smith already read, my dads favourite, saves me buying them!

Read one of Lee child's books, can't remember it now. Seems to be 16 books in the series (so far) and a Tom Cruise movie based on the books coming out around Christmas time. Better get reading to catch up.

The Island, by Victoria Hislop. A great wartime story about Spinalonga, a tiny Island off Crete which was the last lepracy colony in Europe. I read it on the beach when in Crete, so it felt really atmospheric.
