Title: 225/40/18 on a 8" rim
Post by: Baz300 on June 03, 2012, 03:47:45 pm
I'm thinking about getting a set of bbs ch wheels and have found a set that are 8" wide

Would I get away with putting my tyres on to them? As they have only done a few thousand miles

NO problem... they will have a minute amount of stretch!

I've got 8J BBS VZs with 225 wheels. Just changed from Falkens to Continentals. There's NO stretch with the Falkens and LOADS of rim protection with the Continentals.

You'll be absolutely fine mate
