I have used the search and found that there seem to be some good replicas and some bad ones of this wheels.
Where have the people that are happy with the quality of there wheels got them from?
I did see a link to Auto alloys.com but they want £100 for postage to Aberdeenshire
And what's the best offset to get for the mk5?

These look ideal to me but would rather get a set that's proven to be half decent

you're gonna have to buy tyres on to of that, right? £350 at least for decent tyres, plus £40 for fitting?
get these instead:

I bought 4x Goodyear eagle f1s less than 2000 miles ago for my standard wheels so would be getting them swapped over.
My car is black and think having black wheels would bee to much

Baz, have a look at my members ride thread. I've got black monzas on my black GTI. Will give you an idea. They are going to see me thru the winter an then I'm going back to silver alloys probably when I buy a new set. Got them refurbished at the wheel specialist in Dyce.

I did have a look it doesn't look too bad.
I had dark wheels on my last car and didn't really like them.
