What are the actual differences of these engines comparing them to each other?
Does anyone know the codes for them?
Also what are we talking of if a AXX engine needs to be swapped for any of these will it complicated or straight forward?
I know the ECU will definitely be needed for starters, what about the engine loom?

The engine codes in the order you mention, BHZ, BWJ and CDLA.
Straight forward and no need to change wiring loom

you can also keep your ecu. but u limit ur boost, 21psi. (what i run)
if you do change your ecu, change your map sensor also :happy2:

Thanks Mike and James, I take it these engines will come with the appropriate map sensor? If I do get any of the above say it's from a manual car will my DSG box fit straight on to it too?

MAP sensor and ECU has to follow each other, your AXX ECU won't read a 3 Bar MAP sensor from the "larger" BHP engines only the 2,55 Bar one you already have.
Yes, DSG gearbox bolts onto an engine from a manual :happy2:

So I an either reuse my AXX map sensor and ecu on the new engine which will definitely need to be mapped or use the s3 ecu and map sensor which won't need to be mapped immediately?
