Title: Had a few bits sorted while away (with pics)
Post by: gazon69 on June 09, 2012, 08:03:22 am: Just been away on a two weeks holiday, so rather than have the car just sat there doin nothing i thought i may as well send the car away to have a few things sorted that i wasn't happy with. I had the front end repainted as there were a few stone chips starting to appear and a scuff repaired on the front bumper which some tw4t had left me after a shopping trip. Also had the side skirts colour coded. When i arrived home, waiting for me was my rieger front splitter (which i know is not everyones cup of tea but i like it) and climair wind deflectors ,so i got them fitted up this morning. I also need to collect my unibrace xb as i need to pay the duty on it. I'm a bit torn as what to do about the front splitter as to whether i should colour code it or not now i have colour coded the side skirts. I do like it black as it breaks up the bulkyness of the red. Just need to get my a.p front stoppers fitted now, then hopefully get my new blower sorted before inters. I dont think i will have time to get the water-meth fitted up untill after inters now though. Anyway i'll stop rambling on and post a couple of pics up. :happy2:

I like the front spliter as it is, as you say it breaks the front up.

Did you wrap the front spliter, as i have the same one and like yourself in 2minds what to do with it. My Car is Reflex Silver and the front spliter is wrapped with the OEM dimpled stuff from 3M.

Nice to come home, im sure you missed it...

The splitter was £189 from ebay but had to come direct from germany so took around 3 weeks to arrive. @ scopes, no mate the splitter isn't wrapped, it is a smooth finish but i may get it wrapped as i do like the standard stippled effect myself. And yes i did miss the old girl as i have been driving a piece of sh*te fiat punto diesel for two weeks :sick:
