Out of the blue the boot release has stopped working from outside. Also when this happened the warning display informed me that the the reverse and rear fog lights have stopped working. I have checked the bulbs and they seem fine. I assumed it would be a fuse, but the whole lighting system seem to be on two 40amp fuses and the rest of the lights are still working alright. Even so, I tried swapping the fuses with a new one and it made no difference. I don't know what fuse the boot release is on because it doesn't seem to say in the manual. Incidently I can open the boot manually from the inside release catch, it just seems to be the electrical opening that won't work. Has anyone else had the same problem or know what might be going on. I can't understand why this would happen! Please help! :sad1:

Hello had the same issue found out one of the wires in the rear wiring harnesses had snapped. Replaced both sides cost around £140 for both harnesses and all fixed.

Ok, thanks for that. Was hoping it was something simpler, but I guess I'll have to get it into the garage to be looked at. Incidentally I have now discovered that the rear wiper stopped working as well.
