Title: Esp and abs light on after mot

Hello all,

My mates mk5 1.6fsi has just been moted and after driving it home it has the abs light and esp light on the dash?

Any reasons why this would be?

Cos they tested the braking force in fron tbrakes, so the rear were stationary, the front were moving... did they dissappear after driving and they turning ignition off? same as when they are rolling roaded...

Ignore me , think i may have got wrong end of stick... teach me to skim read lol

some times they do come on when mot due to the rolling road--they should go of when you drive down the road

He said after driving it home, wonder if this implys that it was fine on way home...? Not sure lol

Thats what i thought it would be, but they are still on and he has driven home :(, mabye just unplug the battery and see if that clears them or if they reurn :(

If these lights are on after you have drove it home there is a fault in the system
Might be the dredded pressure sender fault

You will need to get the codes read if the lights are still on.
