Title: Thinking of getting a 510 satnav

Looking for some info on 510 satnav's what's the difference in the models and what's the deal with battery drain also what sort of money would I be paying for one and if there's anyone one the Maidstone area with one I can have a look at would be great too.

Post by: Yetisimon on June 10, 2012, 11:09:19 pm: From what I can make out early car ie up to 07 need a new canbus or firmware update if a new 510 is fitted not sure if that's right or not but I'm sure someone will shed more light on the subject

I have an 07 Ed30 and I got a B version Rns510 when they first came out. I've updated the firmware a few times now. First to a D and then to an F version.

Never had any battery drain whatsoever :happy2:
