Title: Which lowering springs should I be using...
Post by: Sophie123 on June 11, 2012, 10:54:40 am
Hey guys

Need a bit of help on which lowering springs I should get for
My 1.9. Tdi golf which I believe is at standard height... The
Car will have a set of 18s on soon but don't wont to ruin
The ride to much?

Thanks

As Berg said, Eibach's or H&R's seem to be the popular choices.

H&R get my vote but depends on your strut size!

I don't know what the drop is when installing them on the tdi as it is different to the gti, I expect there is someone on here who could help you with that but these are the puppies!

And don't really break the bank either, I'm not saying the h&r are bad springs as people on here sware by them but I've had very good experience with the eibachs

Hope it helps
