Title: Clutch slow to return

Driving the car the other day and changed gear but the clutch was slow to return, it was fine again but has since done it again,
Anyone had similar problems or idea what it could be? Slave cylinder?

Post by: Johnny_tro on June 11, 2012, 07:36:07 pm: mine did thos the other month buddy. I left it and left it and cost me more. Sounds like clutch wear. Get it checked. I left mine and ended up having to change the clutch and the fly wheel.

check fluid levels, and if you havent had your annual brake fluid change done - get one arranged by your mechanic/dealer!

Got mine done last month, thought I had to replace the clutch and flywheel, the fluid was grey, clutch is sweet and smooth now.

Saved me a little fortune and hassel.

Whilst changing it get it bled at the hubs also, fresh fluid all round in the pipes.

Post by: Luka on July 20, 2012, 10:17:37 pm: Mine's doing this. I've heard a lot about slave cylinders but I think I'll try the fluid route first. Gears are a bit notchy and sometimes it even jolts when put into first!
