I have found a mk5 golf gti front bumper but just wondering
how hard it is to fit this to my mk5 golf 1.9 tdi?

any help would be great thanks....

Where are you located?
I am doing it tomorrow (hopefully)
It is really easy , already done (fitted Jetta bumper before)

im located near bristol....
is it a straight fit or do you have to change any thing??

Nope, you can change the bumper reinforcement bar behind the bumper to the one which I believe is different on the GTI/GT sport models, therefore no cutting required.

I'm sure someone with more knowledge can confirm that though

You could change the carrier, crash bars, foam etc but it isn't necessary.

Like the sounds of this, picking one up next week then just needs spraying and GTi fogs finding

yeah seen that, could be tempted! il see once I've source and got the other parts i need as will already be spending £600 on mods in less than a week : :rolleye:
