Title: R32/GTI Engine mount points

Are the engine mount points between the two the same.

Looking to swap a 2.0TFSI into a R32  :signLOL:

Would have thought so as long as same mk eg mk5 R32/GTI

Only one set of mounting points on the chassis after all.

A mate has just built 4wd on his cupra. my suggestion was to buy a loaded heavy mk5 r32 and fit the tfsi in it.  :happy2:
Mounting points is the same to my knowledge. I might do this myself for the next car  :drinking:

They use different mounts, but the points on the chassis are the same.
