Title: sat nav has gone tits up
Post by: bozzarules on June 20, 2012, 07:53:43 pm: when i click my head unit onto nav it just stays at one point as like i lost gps could this be a loose connection or just need a rebset?

not sure on headunit as not a normal vw satnav/dvd player

can post a image if needed

Post by: sanj on June 20, 2012, 08:55:20 pm: Oh dear,that's a cheap RNS510 clone nor sure if you'll get much info on how to fix it,just do a reset on the headunit and see if it's any better,you could just disconnect the battery for 10 min's and see if it work's.

...........looks like one of those cheap ebay copies. :scared:

Post by: skard on June 20, 2012, 09:57:41 pm: Take a pic of the satnav in action, it is probably IGO8 software on it which is actually excellent. It's likely got a corrupt SD hence the issue.
