Had a Saturday job in a computer shop way back when and remember the master system (loved outrun) and super mario on Nintendo
It was fzero for me on the SNES and sonic on the mega drive
We used to sell neo geos and baseball stars was spot on

I did them all. Megadrive plus 32X add on, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox and now Xbox 360.
Still have the Dreamcast but the rest are long gone.
-
I have a Super Nintendo with Mario Kart and StarFox!!
And a Nintendo Cube with Star Wars.
Those were the days eh!

Zx spectrum games :signLOL: get to the end of the tape to find out it never loaded :fighting2: :signLOL:
-
I still have my 48k ZX Spectrum!
-
I use to collect them. I literally had a room full of retro consoles. I sold them all for a set of new rims for my Mk2 16v to show it at Inters. Doh!!!!!
-
commodore 64 :signLOL: same deal with loading a game for half an hour on the tape player for it to fail :fighting:
Or typing in code for hours to make a dodgey looking sprite bounce around the screen
Mega drive I and II, playstation one and two, an old pong game with almost a wood dash kind of trim on the front :signLOL:, and my current a PS3 :drinking:

Still have a ZX81, works too!
Atari 2600(?) was a great console, but the best game ever is Super Mario Kart.
-
I had N64, dreamcast, ps2 and now 360. The dreamcast was ahead of its time. massively underrated better marketing would have shifted the console by the shipload!

I had the Atari 2600 with the wooden effect casing. Remember Pole Position being the first game I played were a car consisted of a grey rectangle with a white rectangle above it and 2 black squares for wheels either side. Things have changed a bit since then..
-
Asteroids on the 2600 was awesome!!!

On an entirely different note my Dad used to work for a company that supplied video games machines, juke boxes, fruit machines and pool tables to pubs and clubs in the late 70's and early 80's.
Quite often I would have a table top version of Galaxians or Pacman or even a small cabinet version of Battlezone at home in the garage. Some days during the summer hols I would go to work with him and he would just leave me in the workshop or in one of their demo suites for the day. :pomppomp:
Those were the days. :sad1:

Loved the Atari with Asteriods. Still a blindingly addictive game now some 30 years later. Then had the Megadrive (for Sonic) with the 32X add on (for motor racing, not sure which game). Remember the 32x add on being £160 and at the time that was a HUGE amount of money for the thing. Remember the games being about £40 way back when!!!
Happy times.
