1. Did you do the wiring change for the CD player? I can't recall which pins to change around, but a google should point you in the right direction. This should solve the sound issues.
Here you go:

2. Which MFSW buttons do you have? Not sure if there is an issue on the older style buttons. I am sure somebody with more knowledge will be along shortly.
3. Which version of RNS do you have? As far as I recall, the older versions were limited for SD card size. Try using a smaller card, say 8GB and see if that works?

No I shall do that in the morning I remebered that afterward, I've seen it online somewhere before, it's a 2008 1.9TDI bluemotion the steering wheel has 4 buttons each side and is standard leather,
I think it's a version B because the code on the top end in B but not entirely sure
Thanks for the links I'm on my iPhone at the moment, so when I get to te computer il check them out :happy2:

Hi mate, you need the firmware disc to upgrade to a C version or higher. This will then allow you to use a SDHC card (above 2GB)
I think 2GB is the max on a B version??? Could be 4GB though :ashamed:

Darren is in Leeds and I'm sure he won't mind upgrading your RNS firmware. He can also put the very latest maps on and all the points-of-interest and speed cameras. :happy2:
He is a top bloke :notworthy:
Send him a pm mate
His forum name is MortyGTtdi.
