Wish i had the w/meth fitted in time i reckon i could have got into the 4's. Car gripped like fook with the new r1r's. Had a different map put on for it to come on power a little later. I didn't get 1 bit of wheel spin on any run. Loved it.

Much better than my times.  Zero launch grip, but fine when hitting 3rd.  Too much power :(

Can-bus Racelogic traction control system is next on my list now.

Stevies golf was running low boost as he blew his head gasket friday night so gad to nurse it really. I think the best he ran was a 13.4. That porsche 996 turbo he has ran an 11.2 with a foo barred clutch. That car has 10 secs written all over it with a stage 3 clutch in. Sadly i wont be goin tomorrow as i am in the process of moving home.  :sad1:

One thing I've leaner this weekend is that....

Most 4wd times are bull crap...I went up against the tt shops TT...he did a 3." " 0-60 and a 12. Summit 1/4 mile.....mine done a 13. Summit
Once the 4wd system is of the line the gap does start to close, a bloke in a silver charged S5 done me off the line but he said he saw me catching him towards the end

I mean don't get me wrong there great times and fast but the 1/4 mile is just sh*ts and gigs now, I ran stock suspension, stock mounts and tires near wear bars, I was impressed but I don't think I'll do the 1/4 mile again, doesn't show anything on a FWD car really, yes it gives you a rough idea of times and hell yea it's fun but I could spend grands trying to get a time I'm Happy with on the strip  :signLOL:

I used to have racelogic traction control on my 200sx and on that if you added a clutch switch you could them have full throttle shifting.

So on a new VAG car it should be a case of just turning it on :happy2:

Canbus version doesn't have flatshifting.  It will run with the oem ecu as long as the missfire recognition is turned off.  I usually run a wot box with the racelogic to get the flatshifting.

All those big Audi's were loud as F00K  :scared:

Can't believe I missed you Jack  :sad1:

I went to the Revo Stand (there were about 10 all together) and I think I saw your Ed30 but the woman I asked said she wasn't 100% sure who the owner was and another bloke said he couldn't see you when he looked around.

Tried a few times but no luck.

Went round on Sunday too but didn't see your car and thought u must have gone home???

Club organisation, and turnout was poor really. Would have been nice to all get together.

On Sunday when I went past the club stand there was no spaces on the front, and no way was I going behind. The grass was like a bog, and I witnessed quite a few cars being towed out of the mud by a big red RS4.

I dont know if it was any busier on sunday but i thought sat was a poor turn out. It just seemed too spread out for my likings. It may have been the predicted forecast that put a lot of people off.

Mine and Justin's were parked up on the stand from about 10am apart from doing 3 runs before lunch and 3 runs after, only saw Greeners Pirelli when we got there in the morning and Monte's parked up when we came back to get our car's in the afternoon for our final 3 runs

Bumped into Monte coming down the run off area after one of my run's so luckily managed to give him his Climair's before we went home  :happy2:

Saw Jim's car as i met the previous owner so recognised the plate  you still running the stock suspension?

All in all a good day and the weather was overcast but dry and not too hot...... headwind was very strong which didn't help with the times but i'm not a pro anyway so was just a bit of fun  :driver:

I was behind the front row with my Red GTI , when I parked up there was no one there , I was going to wash the car and to a quick detail , but after seeing the state of the place , and other cars around , I just pulled my wellies on and went for a plodge around with the camera. Shame there wasnt a post saying 'everyone be on the stand at xx.xx hrs' so we could all have a chat , Ive still only met a couple of people from the forum , and that was last year in the Premier Inn! Never mind , I got over 400 pics and enjoyed my weekend. Shame about the accident which took the shine off things for me , and hope the injured get well soon.

It was my 1st time to Inters and it was a nice day out. lots of well maintained cars.

was very disappointed with the stand area for the forum as it wasn't really a stand. came up with Little Dave and Co and met Greeners but that was about it. came back later in the day and spotted Monte's ride sitting by herself.  :sad1:

I thought we would have a banner of some form..... well at least something saying the forum we belong to!

It would seem lots of the Forum guys made it but didn't want to mingle.  or possibly i'm missing something being a newbie?

This isnt the first time this has been mentioned. I've been at inters the last three times and same thing. Unfortunately due to family commitments this year I haven't been able to attend. More than willing to help with few bits if required for future events not just inters. Forum banner and maybe set meet times etc a must. As I said been last few years and all cars parked up but no one around.

You need to change your details now Mike as you don't have any turbo's in the Porker

Sadly it wasn't mine, it was on loan to see what I thought of it. Needless to say, I thought it was outstanding. I'd be hard pushed to upgrade to a Carrera S to be honest, that was all the car you need right there.
