Title: Question about Black 17" Monzas - were they standard?

Hi there,

Newbie currently considering a MK5 GTi - I've seen one with Black 17" Monza's, they look great but i'm pretty fussy about things being completely standard - I realise they may have been sprayed either way but were they available in black from the factory?

They are labelled in the advert as Graphite Grey, not sure if this makes a difference?

No, black Monzas were not available from VW.

Pretty common change to make I take it as I've seen a few around with them.

Only black VW ones are Monza 2 that are 18"...

..............sorry but i think they were/ still are as an option from the Euro ED30's. Shure it was in VW Driver mag.

They've never done black 17" Monzas, just black 18" Monza 2s. As you said, these came on the Ed 30, or as an option wheel over here.
