Title: Interior Grab Handle

OK managed to do abit off a clean and polish today on my day off work,,,  and noticed the interior grab handle on the drivers-side is starting to look abit
tatty scratches etc, spotted them for sale new on the bay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-GOLF-MK5-INTERIOR-DOOR-GRAB-HANDLE-TRIM-2DR-2005-08-/170855882682?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item27c7cddfba#ht_500wt_1180 my question has any one bought/changed one off these ? does it just un-clip or do
you have to remove the dr-card?

I done both of mine as they were looking tatty. Just used a flat head screwdriver to pop it off then unclipped the window switches and swaped with new. No need to take the door card off :)

I bought mine from the dealer and think it was a bit cheaper then that.. Will dig out the receipt later

£16.50 + £3.99 del on ebay,   ordered it from the dealer £11.40 incl vat, :confused:,,,    just in case anyone else is thinking
of changing theres....

Do you have the part number please? I'm going to replace the passenger side to while I'm at it :)

If you're doing the passenger side you DO have to remove the door card

Ordered it over the phone,I will have the part number tomorrow of the receipt when I collect it, i'll post it up for you then.

Mine is a 3dr so with 2 elec-window switches if yours is a 5dr it will be different part...

Collected today £10.87 incl vat  :smiley:,  part number 1K3 868 050 C 75R .

The ones on the bay for £16.50+£3.99 p&p,,,  you could buy both sides for that...
