Hi guys I was wondering if I could Pick your brain. I got my milltek fitted today on my ed30 but it sticks out like 2" more than I wanted. Anybody had this problem? Or know a post about it?
Cheers

Asked the fitter to try readjusting it?
-
Is your Eddy a 3 or 5 door?
I had the same issue on my 3 door S3, because in error they installed a sportback rear pipe. :popcornsoda:

IIRC Miltek don't do different versions for the 3/5dr golf
I can see why they do for the A3/ S3 though.

.
I thought that the new Millteks had removable tips so that their position could be adjusted.

Thanks guys, the tips are removable but they are pushed on as far as they can. And there is only one part number for 3 and 5 doors for the golf. I will try get it readjusted ASAP, sounds amazing but looks awful that far out.
I spoke to a guy at awesome-gti and like said that he has had problems in the past and sometimes the joints Han need a little motivation to push back.
Cheers for all the info

Had the same problem with my gti / r32 look milltek...got me so mad, so i sold it, and had made custom exhaust. :signLOL:
Could lift for a 2 cm, but nevermind.

One reason i won't get another Milltek. I hate those new movable tips, the old style fixed type was much better.

Yes Adamtattooed30 , they were gt 100mm. And good luck with fitting.the cat-back is just to big... Now i have custom exhaust, sounds much better than milltek.and looks perfect...But milltek downpipe is still on.happy with it.
It's like this now...
