Title: High octane vs regular
Post by: martziniuk on June 27, 2012, 07:13:39 pm
How much does running 95 Ron against 99 Ron at stage 2+ effect your timing pull? Logs or numbers from VCDS would be great  :happy2:
Obviously I don't run 95 but in an emergency I put 1/4 of a tank in to last.

Depends on car and map settings. Typically I can tell what fuel a TFSi has in based on the logs.

So what would you say was a typical difference, -4 between the two fuels?

iirc one guy posted up some logs with 95 octane with a little too much CFs. Was advised to use V-Power and it made quite a difference to the amount of CFs he was getting.

Unfortunately I can't recall the member's name...   :ashamed:
