Title: revo question - boost levelss
Post by: nezquick on June 29, 2012, 09:07:50 pm
Stage 2 with all supporting mods.

I know one of my intercooler pipes essentially blew off on the way back from inters buuuut since reseating and securing i still am not 100% confident im holding boost.

Before i swear the gauge boosted to 25 dropped to 20 and held, but now it seems to boost to 20-22. hold and then higher rev range drops to 15 amd holds.

Is that right for a stage 2? i though that was more stage 1 levels..

Anyone any thoughts? am rtempted to peform a smoke test

Have a new intercooler (fmic) and will be fitting shortly but in the mean time anyone got any ideas as to whether thats right or it doesnt seem 100%? It still pulls damn well though!!

Boost 8 is 1.4bar(20psi)
Boost 9 is 1.5bar(22psi)

Ahhh that's on an edition 30... not sure if gti is the same...
