Title: Phil Miller
Post by: Moz on June 29, 2012, 10:11:39 pm
For those unaware Phil is currently in hospital and has been for a while as he was involved in something serious. From what I was told he was very much in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Don't know anything more than this, but spoke to his partner who advised the words of his friends have been great comfort to him.

Not sure if anyone here is a closer friend, but if I hear anything more, I'll let you know.

Thank you all from your moving posts, it does really mean alot to us, im going to print this thread off and take it in to him, he will be so touched by this, Thank you so much

Hopefully we will have him home within a week or so, its his birthday in the middle of July and we all hope he will be home with us by then

In time im sure he will post what happened, he was on a breakdown On the A30 and a driver went round his van and then tucked back in, hitting the car he was working on, atm its been confirmed that Phil had done everything he was trained to do, cones, flashing beacons, everything, its still in the hands of the police, all i can say is we are very lucky he is still with us

Thank you all so much Rachel x

That's astonishing Rachel. Thanks for sharing that with us. I hope the driver gets the book thrown at them.

Most importantly Phil is still with you. Hoping a speedy recovery.

LIke many on the forum I've not met Phil or chatted with him on the phone but all the communication we've had over tech issues have been very cordial  and he really seems a friendly, caring man which is probably why he does the job he does and unfortunately why he put himself in danger when he was looking after someone else.

Best Wishes Phil and hope your recovery is a speedy one.
