Who has either of these wheels on a black car?
I can't decide between the two, and they are both the same price. The reps are new.
It may be easier to sell the car to a Vw anorak, if it has BBS alloys rather than reps, as I'll sell on the Monza II's I have. I can't decide, and I can't imagine what it will look like on my car. It could be a costly mistake either way if I make the wrong decision.
The VZ's new are under or were at £600, they look similar to my ED30 alloys, if not slightly different? These seem at the cheaper end of the market, I just hope they look amazingly better than my smoked Monza II's. I'm hoping to buy the VZ's second hand with tyres, second hand BBS wheels seem to command a premium.

I'd love original BBS CH/R's, but I'd have to sell my granny :(
Opinions? ..... :popcornsoda:
Reps? BBS's? Keep my Monza's to sell car in future? It's would only cost me a few hundred pound more to get new VZ's, but you can't get them any more. Or do they just look too mundane, if you're going to go new wheels, then surely something amazingly different.
I am confused :stupid:

Do what I did and wait until a set of Genuine BBS become available used from a member. They feel amazing on the car, as they're so light, and I drive in confidence knowing they won't suddenly crack or buckle easily.

here are mine :happy2:

Thanks James. Looks good, guessing that's on coil overs and those are 18"?
Mine is dropped currently on H&R's.
Going for the original silver, but black looks good, but as they are in good nick, could not face painting them.

Hope you've seen this on the forum.........

I have just received the CH hyper silver from the same fella in your link... (wheels only) ordered them Friday night and they arrived today, Cant fault them for the money the finish looks really good on the outside face... if a bit thin on the inside... could do with a blow over with some silver spray really so Im thinking of sorting that before I get the tyres fitted plus a coat of wax :happy2: getting the tyres fitted on Saturday morning

They are BBS VZ's hence the different centre caps. :happy2:

I'd say silver ch's all day long
Any one know of any cracking deals on ch reps atm
-
Had the same dilema as the Monza 18's on the GTI I just bought are kerbed and I'm not a massive fan. I love the VZ033/Pescara design so I am waiting until they are back in stock. We can supply these and they should be back in 2 months, albeit in silver only.
I'd buy a good set of Pescaras though if they cam up for sale :happy2:

I currently have VMR Reps on my car.
Thinking of going with BBS CH-R, how much of a difference have you notice from Reps to Real ?
how has the handling benefited ?

Thanks Greeners, are they the same as Pescaras in all but name? If so, maybe the BBS caps will fit on mine?
-
no they are different specs, and i had the Audi version of Pescaras before i bought VZs and i can assure you that the centre caps do not fit
-
they are Greeners old wheels :happy2:

they are Greeners old wheels :happy2:
Indeed they are, but then again most people on here are running round on a set of my old wheels!
The VZ's are 8'' wide and have a lower offset which means they sit in the arches much better than the Pescara.
