Title: Wheel et question
Post by: Syrag64 on July 06, 2012, 05:44:51 pm
Hi i have a set of LM reps in size 19" 8.5 & 9.5 wide, i bought them off ebay off a guy who had them on his audi and advertised as ET45, but now i'm confused, the wheels have a sticker on the rim of the wheel saying they are ET45 with all the other info from the factory, but when i look on the inside edge of the wheel there is an actual stamp into the alloy that says et +35, now can anyone tell me if the wheels are et45 or et35?

Car is currently in garage having a few parts fitted  they did try 1 of the wheels on the front of the car and found it needs a spacer to clear my NQBBK   :driver:

I am going against the advice of Gaz. My guess is they are stamped 35et because they are copies of the originals,  when the actual size will be 45et because that is what the Americans all want.  :driver:

Cheers TC, i was hoping for an answer like that :happy2:

The guy i got them off says he had ET35 on his car and they rubbed so got these ET45.

The stamp actually says ET+35 does that make any difference?

with reps anything could be possible could be taken from a mould of et35 wheels and machined down to 45 but i dont know best way would be to fit them and see if they poke et 35 will poke a fair bit and like someone sai et45 should be flush almost
