Title: Alloy Centre Cap Size?
Post by: S66_OTP on July 06, 2012, 08:19:10 pm
Evening all,

Just acquired a set of BBS alloys from an Edition 30 however they have no centre caps. Was wondering if any of you can advise me what size replacement ones are & where is the best place to get these from? Been on eBay however all the replicas look kinda cheap.

Help would be appreciated

Cheers

I take it these are the original wheels from an ED30, the Pescara wheels and not BBS CH's?
If so, cap size is 65mm. Stealers will empty your wallet of only £28 for a set of 4 VW centre caps. Don't bother trying to find any BBS caps as none will fit. You can buy a set from eBay for silly cheap money but no idea of their quality.
Hope that helps.

Cheers MC71, yeah they're original Pescaras. Just need to find somewhere that sells good replicas or second hand ones at a good price now.  :happy2:

If you manage to find any replica BBS centre caps in 65mm post the info' and let us know where from as they are rarer than rocking horse poo (that's even if there available at all)!

I just bought some genuine VW ones from ebay as the BBS ones were just stickers & looked really cheap.
