So i just got of the phone with VW, and they say that its not possible to wire up a set of foglights to my golf! They say that retro fitting them used to be done but its just not poossible anymore!!
Im so pissed at that! :mad: Its not fair! I want fogs!!! :fighting:
They say you could maybe splice into wires etc but then it messy!, So how have everyone else managed to do it? Its anoying me!
Please help.. as i think im going to need the fogs to create my gti look!

Make an R32 look ^^;
They dont have fogs :jumpmove:
I dont know anything of the wiring setup here - I'm sure someone here knows how :smiley:

why not just do it but not have them wired up? how often does everybody really use them? :smiley:

I'd interpret that as 'we can't be arsed to do it, so we'll just tell the customer that we can't.'
Take your business elsewhere.

A good auto electrician should be able to do this for you.

Personally i want some of these ^ ^ tog get rid of my fogs.

In times of economic hardship, why would a dealer not bother trying? Electrics are a ballache, yes, but there might not be an OE style solution they can offer.
If you're really desperate for your fogs to work, buy a small switch (if it was me I'd buy an ESP one and fit it in one of the blanks by the ashtray) and go to an auto electrician. They'll be They'll wire them to the switch and from the battery and you just press the switch when you want them on. They'll also be loads cheaper than the dealer!

IIRC for the MOT if fogs are present they have to work!!!

if a light is present it should work, but just take them out for the MOT
