After stating recently on here that I'd like to see a modern day version of the Clio Williams coming out in the car industry.
I find myself looking at the ones currently up for sale.
They seem quite strong money for early to mid 90's slice of Renault.. but gotta admit (to me) they look kinda cool.
The blue metallic/gold wheels thing looks good in a non Scooby way.
Anyone on here owned one?
Anything to watch out for when looking these over?

Almost bought a few of em over the last year just check for rust on the arches as they rust badly but still a great car

Its a Mk2 Clio as well isnt it? 172/182.
As much as i find the Williams appealing, id still go for a later model, much better built.

I think there's a few versions of the Williams, the purists wanting the original.
A friend had one back in the day, it was absolutely superb. As a fun second car to get out on a sunny day, I'd have one in a heartbeat... Appreciating classic too.

William 2 can be had for cheapish money and the 3 but the ones fetch a little more but like I said rust is a big thing on them

Thought the front wings were plastic?

It's the rear arches that go Dave

good cars, as quick as 182 tbh, but cooler, good engine thats also used in the spider, another classic french performance car.
