Title: Terminal pin removal tool
Post by: Squeeguk on July 09, 2012, 08:56:44 pm
Hi guys, as above, I'm looking for something to remove the terminals out of connectors.

I have found this on ebay:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Terminal-Tool-FITS-electrics-on-VW-Audi-VAG-Vehicles-/180875445259?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item2a1d04440b#ht_1762wt_1163 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Terminal-Tool-FITS-electrics-on-VW-Audi-VAG-Vehicles-/180875445259?pt=UK_Hand_Tools_Equipment&hash=item2a1d04440b#ht_1762wt_1163)

Has anybody used on of these before or what do you use?

Thanks

Im pretty sure that does the normal size pins but if you want to do the smaller ones like in the ecu then you need a different one

Thanks Neil, exactly what I am planning to do. Not going anywhere near the ECU, just putting in a new harness for OPS and removing the old PDC harness.
