Post by: shotshammo on July 10, 2012, 09:16:58 am
When I turn the steering wheel at slow speed, either way I get a  a boing sound like a spring being released, has anyone else had this problem and what was the cause?

I checked the left hand spring, where I thought the sound was coming from, but didn't check the near side one, I shall have to wait till I've got some one to turn the steering wheel, and try and locate the sound. I have a neighbour who has two jacks, so I can watch and listen, but that won't be till the week end. will keep you posted. Thanks for replies.
