Anyone got any thoughts on them? Or experice of owning one I'm taking the insides of my dpf out on my gt tdi I wondered if it was worth popping one in the air box before the the guy does my remap? Not so much for the performance but just in helping it to breath slighty better?

Not sure about K&N but I have an ITG panel filter in.

the only thing i find with k and n is that its an open air filter in the engine bay so your effectivley sucking in warm/hot air.
closed induction kit would be much better, i was thinking of putting one on my derv to try and mask the sound of the diesel abit

I've got a K&N panel filter on my GTI, improved throttle response a little and gave a few HP on the dyno also :happy2:

Ive got the K&N panel filter in my GT TDI 140 , didnt notice a major difference to be honest , perhaps a ever so slightly increased throttle response and bit deeper sound.
I was once told to stick with panel filters on TDI's as full induction kits are a bit pointless apparently , plus i wouldn't want to destroy the diesel sound , i like the raw'ness of it
I could be wrong though... :P

I was thinking more a panel filter than induction kit dude totally agree with the warm/hot air ting :happy2:
