Title: K&N Typhoon induction kit - any good & will a K03 fit?
Post by: jammy78 on July 14, 2012, 11:31:23 pm
Hi,

Has anyone got the k&n typhoon induction kit, what are people's view on it?

Also, will the k03 version fit the k04, as I can't find any info - i.e. they don't make different versions for the 2 turbos?

Cheers

ko3 version wont fit the ko4, and they dont list the ko4 cars as compatible.

I think i have seen one of these been used in the past. Personally dont rate k&N

The actual kit is well engineered but they are purely for k03. You could get a port welded into the pipe to make it fit the k04 dv. The only downside was the it made too much noise for my liking but helped my car to make good power top end. I have always used K&N filters in all my cars and all have made good power with no issues with any maf problems.
