Title: rcd300 to rns310

hi guys,

i am a newbie to this forum and to vw. i should be getting my golf gti mkv 05 plate on saturday.
i am looking at changing the stereo, preferably to one with sat nav. i really cant afford the rns510 but have found the rns310 on ebay for £260. does anybody know if this will just plug straight in with no battery drain and mfsw problems.

I have a mk5 golf 2.0 gt tdi 55 plate. The rcd300 thats in it wont eject cds! Could i just fit a rcd310 without any issues?
