Hi all,

Bought myself an MDI replacement for the 6cd changer in the armrest and unfortunately the plug is different on the other end!!!
Is there some sort of adaptor I need?

hi

you need a different loom
what radio do you have? only the newer ones support the MDI

MDI won't work with the RCD500

On the other post You wrote u have RCD510.  You can buy a plug from VW and swop the pins or you can buy a loom from there:

Hi again

Kufatec cabling recieved but there seems to be some extra wires on the loom? what do I need to do with these?

Its simple . Un-plug the radio connector and put connector You bought between. The other end is for MDI.
