Anyone running these? Are they any good ?

A friend of mine has a 356mm kit on a vectra and they are awesome I'd live some but carnt stretch the brake budget that far :(
-
The Ksports look Great Value kits.
Apparently not designed for uk climate so seals or no decent ones so expect to rebuild before you would a more pricey

Same Taiwanese tat as XYZ.....
Best check with DaveB's view before shelling out mate :happy2:
-
The above was DaveBs advice.
They are on a well known race bora (in the xyz variant) and the people on the forum when driving said bora were impressed.

I think graeme at gnj was on about fitting a set

It seems DaveB supplied team Bora with the XYZ 6 pot kit back in 2010!

I'm also not sure if DaveB still distributes/recommend these brakes.....as originally the MD of Brakes international had a set on his S4 but they then came off and disassembling the caliper was a bit of an eye opener I think !!!
But Team Bora still going strong with their set up!!! So who knows :signLOL:

Is that because of design issue or conflict of interests?

Less grassy knoll Rich more the fact they fell to bits when we tried to service them.....
Making great track brakes......easy.
making great road brakes........easy.
Making great road and track brakes.....Ah!
It's true they're cheap but think of them (xyz/ksport) as disposable, chap pm'd me this week buying a nearly new set for £450, didn't look expensive just chuck them on eBay in 12-18 months and get a little dosh back when they need servicing.
Guy sent me some 10 year old CP5555 AP Racing Calipers for refurb this week, anyway best place for them is AP Racing for refurb...sending them down there and it's very likely the guy who will refurb them put them together 10 years ago....
The bora only does high days and holidays and trackdays and invariably operates hot most of the time which will help, they work well in that situation, told the boys when they're done they're done.
All the lookeyikey Calipers use AP pad shapes so they won't go to waste
They'll stop you but you pays your money I guess
