Title: HAD A FLAT BATTERY--NOW MY POLAR FIS ISN'T WORKING--fixed

That's not good!
I would take it out and with it out, flash it with the latest firmware and hope that cures it.
Hopefully Rich will spot this post and give you extra/better advice.

This worked for me. Mine stopped working when Darren fitted my RNS510. Just unplugged the FIS box from the loom and back in and all was sorted.
