Title: avon tyres

just wanting to know peoples oppinions on avons, ive some zz3 on my rivieras and wondering what there worth.

selling the alloys so would like advice on whats the price range on the tyres

btw the tyres and alloys are brand new but wanted to sell the tyres seperatly.

they are avon zz3 225/40 zr18 92y

even though the ZZ3 is a very good tyre there quite cheap to buy new so prices for second hand may be low,  have a look on ebay and see what other people are selling for to give you and idea.

As a general rule of thumb I always divide the "new" price in half if the condition is good and then add 5 to 20% of the halved figure back on for the general condition. With consumables that wear  like tyres, even the " as new" price will not be more than about 65% of the new cost. :smiley:

good guide guys, when i got them they were about 120 beans each
they havent been used to does that class as new or used as they are inface second hand?

They're about £80 each brand new on websites like camskill.

If they've got the stickers on, they're new.  If they've been fitted, they're used.

ive just checked ebay and see there about 80-90 beans. whats this camsil website, is it a good place for tyres?

I've never used them before but I've heard good reviews, they're certainly one of the cheaper tyre suppliers on the net.

I paid £350 for a set of four new ZZ3'S the other week.

you you lads recon i can get between 200-350 for them 4? there brand new so just deciding whether to keep them or bang them up for sale

If I'd not already bought some I'd be willing to pay about £280, £300 max if they were like new.
