I've just picked up an RNS510 version F and want to fit it. Which GPS aerial will I need to buy? I've been told that I may not need one at all but just want to check. The two below are on Ebay. Any ideas on what type I need please?

Cool, thanks Olsen. You've had no issues with it, GPS works 100%?

They do different jobs. The top link is a GPS antenna, the bottom link is an adapter to convert the two aerial plugs that your car has into the one combined plug that is used on the RNS.
Unless your car already has a navigation system you will definitely need the former.
You will also most likely need the latter - in theory you can cut down the two plugs you have so that they will fit into the twin socket on the RNS-510. In practice one of these adapters is easier and gives a guaranteed secure fit.

Thanks Markfive, I've already ordered the GPS antenna so ill see how i get on without the second one. Guess i'll have to get one if I need it. The car previously had an RNS510 fitted so maybe i'll be lucky with the second option.
