So! I just changed over my faulty air vents(one of which was broken)
Which took all of about 5minutes put it back together turned the key to make sure the vents worked
Only to now miscover the dash says I have a airbag fault! Not a chance on earth! I did how ever disconnect the airbag on/off wire the sits under the hazard warning light( I may of switched the ignition on whilst it was disconnected) does anyone know if that's the reason I've now got a fault light? And how the hell do I get rid of it?
Cheers guys

if you disconnect that cable and switch on the ignition then you get that airbag fault you need vagcom/vcds to reset the light

As you have disconnected that cable then it will trigger it. It's nothing to worry about. Just need someone with vcds to clear the fault.
